DESCRIPTION:With a cast of over 100 students\, Hartford's Central Middle School will be performing the musical Seussical Jr. The Musical in April under the direction of Lori Hassig and Juliana Geraghty.  \n\n"Oh\, the THINKS you can THINK!" captures the spirit of this whimsical\, musical extravaganza!  Seussical\, Jr.\, which is based on the books of Dr. Seuss and his memorable characters\, follows the adventures of Horton the Elephant as he sets out to protect the people of "Whoville" from destruction.\n\nCentral Middle School's production of Seussical\, Jr. gives 110 6th- 8th grade students the opportunity to experience the power of working as a team in a theater ensemble.  Singing\, dancing\, acting and character work are part of the rehearsal process.  Actors practice the values of cooperation\, teamwork and problem solving under the guidance of the directors.
