Description
Explore how hood ornaments evolved from a functional piece of technology to symbols of status and luxury. This presentation will also show how car mascots reflected the design fundamentals of different eras by examining the museum’s own collection. After the presentation, head to Brewed Omen (120 N Main St, Suite L40, Hartford, WI 53027) for an informal "afterglow" where program attendees will enjoy a 20% discount. Special tickets to be used as proof of attendance will be distributed at the end of the presentation. This program is part of the museum's 2026/2027 speaker series. This series is brought to you in part by Central States Insurance, Forte Bank, and the Wisconsin Society of Automotive Historians.
